Consultants in the Writing and Media Help Center work with you according to our core value that composing and critical thinking work together to create a meaningful education. With this value in mind, we collaborate with you to examine how to compose effective documents, and to help you improve your facility with any type of communication.
The center has gone through many changes in the past year to adapt to Iowa State University scholars’ needs. Currently, our new website provides you with our basic information, such as open hours and location. As we update our site, you can expect writing handouts to aid you in your tasks, weekly updates informing you about future workshops, and—next spring—online tutoring. We welcome you to browse through the site while it is under construction, and the developing links, you will find, will be updated and maintained in the near future.
